Numb and Number (One)

In the seventh week of the initial campaign of US mobile ringtones and ringback tones derived from the Remember That Night DVD, David has already surpassed the all-time record for mobile downloads, beating Prince, the previous champion.

See the News Archives (Monday 5th November 2007) for more details, but essentially there have been three tunes on offer, of which Comfortably Numb is currently available, and is getting the best response so far. US phone network Verizon is very pleased with the results, and will again offer Wish You Were Here and Shine On You Crazy Diamond as well as Comfortably Numb when it ends its current exclusive run.

Two Cool For School – RTN No. 2 in 2007

David's live DVD Remember That Night – Live At The Royal Albert Hall was the UK's 2nd highest selling music DVD in 2007, after 'High School Musical – The Concert', part of the ongoing Disney franchise.

Hard not to invoke the Avis slogan 'we try harder', since RTN ended up ahead of releases by the original cast of 'Joseph...', The X Factor, Oasis, Queen, Westlife, Daniel O'Donnell, Les Misérables, and AC/DC, amongst many others.

It also featured in The Sun's (UK) Top 10 music DVDs of the year – which was nice. Click here to see their critique.
