David released
On An Island, his third solo album,
on 6th March 2006. Along with David's
vocal and instrumental talents, the album
also features many very special guests.
David Crosby and Graham Nash sing harmonies;
Robert Wyatt plays cornet and percussion;
Guy Pratt plays bass; Caroline Dale contributes
on cello; Alasdair Molloy performs on
glass harmonica; and Richard Wright guests
on Hammond organ and vocals.
On An Island entered
the UK Charts at Number One, subsequently hitting
the top position in the pan-European Charts, as
well as hitting multi-Platinum around the world,
including countries as diverse as Canada and Poland.
